What counts as a change

We record additions, removals and edits to the numbers a practice would act on: the amount or billing unit of a price line, a review score and its review count, and whether a product is active, acquired or discontinued. A change to how we classify a price internally does not appear here, because it does not change what anyone pays. Neither do edits to wording or to a source link that still points at the same figure.

Every figure on this site carries the date we last checked it against its source, shown next to the number on the product's own page. This page records something else: the date the figure itself last moved. Both dates are worth having, and the methodology page explains how we gather and label each one.
