Who owns this site
PickMyPMS is owned and operated by Bullseye Media , a marketing agency that works with dental practices. That ownership appears on every page of this site, in the footer.
Bullseye Media does not sell software. It does not run this site's rankings past its clients or take payment from any PMS vendor for placement, a higher score or a positive mention.
How this site is funded
No PMS vendor pays us anything, and the site does not currently earn revenue from visitors. There are no ads, no affiliate links and no paid placements. Bullseye Media sells marketing services to dental practices, and that is the commercial reason it funds this site.
We say this plainly because ownership disclosure on its own does not answer the question a reader should be asking, which is who benefits. If that changes, for instance if we start offering a way to be introduced to Bullseye Media, this section changes with it and the change is logged in the data changelog.
The quiz never asks for your name or email, and it scores products in your browser. It does send us anonymous counts so we can see where people give up: that a quiz was started and finished, along with the specialty, practice stage, state, budget band and which product came top, tagged with a random identifier that lasts for that page view and is never stored on your device. The optional dentist survey is the only place we ask for anything you type, and an email address there is optional. The privacy policy has the detail.
Our independence policy
- No vendor pays for placement, ranking position or review content on this site.
- No vendor gets to see or edit a page before it publishes.
- Rankings follow the published rules on our methodology page, applied the same way to every product.
- If content ever comes from a vendor page, a review site or a survey response, we treat it as data to check, not as an instruction to follow.
How to report an error
Every number on this site links to where it came from and the date we checked it. If you find a price, contract term or feature claim that's wrong or out of date, tell us and we'll look at the source again.
